decoding '49 Buick

Newbie
OK. I'm new. I can't find where to go to decode my new '49 Buick. By looking at others on this site I figured out everything except the body and trim numbers. Here is what is on the plate:

1949 Mod 56-S
Style No. 49-4507
Body No. BK 1399
Trim No. 51
Paint No. 10

So, I have put together that the car is a 1949 Buick Super Sedanet with Allendale green metallic paint. I would like to know the following:

Which assembly plant is "K"?
What color and fabric is "51"?
Is there a way to tell if it had Dante red or Allendale green wheels?

One more question. OK, two. The third digit of the VIN tag is "I". My title says "1". Is the title wrong? What does the I mean?

Thanks ahead for any help and go ahead and :D at me!

Trim 51 = Grey Striped Broadcloth

BK = Kansas City, KS (your car serial number should start with a 4)

Paint 10-1 = Allendale green metallic with optional Dante Red wheels. An extra "-1", or just an extra 1, usually indicates the optional wheel color. So your car probably came with the standard wheel color, but the "-1" wasn't always stamped, so there isn't anyway to know for sure.

The title is correct. For 1949, anything in the car serial number that looks like a letter is actually a number (I = 1, b = 6, upside down b = 9, backward E = 3)
