Decode vin and trim tag

Tirfryr

Newbie
Can someone please help me decode the vin and cowl tag.
1948 Buick Roadmaster
Vin number 51933527

I know it is a model 70 Roadmaster and believe the color is Regency Blue.
I cannot find any information for interior color, city where it was built, etc.
The car does have the "Dynaflow" logos on both front fenders.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Engine number - could be used by some authorities as the VIN
5193352 = sequential engine number - first '48 engine was 4999881
7 = used in Roadmaster series - 320 cu inch

For the serial number of the car (separate plate):
2 = assembly plant - Southgate, CA
5002588 = frame or serial number of the car (first '48 Southgate car was 4820001)

For the body data plate:
MODEL
blank - should be stamped 71 for Roadmaster 4-dr sedan

STYLE
4 = Buick
7 = Roadmaster series 70
69 = 4-dr sedan

BODY
C = Built in Southgate plant
4838 = body serial number - 4838th style 4769 built at Southgate

TRIM
76 = Grey Heather Bedford cord

PAINT
818 = Regency Blue poly (metallic) - probably should be stamped 4818, similar Southgate plates we have seen around this time had a 4-digit code that includes the model year

1948 was the first year for the Dynaflow. Only the Roadmaster series had it (as an option).
