The only light-colored Riviera interior using cloth was trim #684. It was a Custom-level Strato Bench seat using cloth and vinyl. No leather was available on '68 Buicks except possibly by special order. Color was Champagne (or gold). It would be a good idea to check the body data plate to confirm Trim 684. See attached scan of the sales brochure.
Two-tone paint was not offered on the '68 Riviera. The Champagne interior could be ordered with Maroon Metallic paint code N but not with Scarlet Red code R. See attached 1968 Buick Colors brochure giving all 8 available paint codes for a Champagne interior.
As with leather, unacceptable paint/trim combinations were probably available on special order. The danger was a car with an unusual color scheme would be very hard to sell off a dealer's lot.
SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon would be the best source for the fabric.
