    Here you go Sean!

Of course your on Buick net as well. For those who ask for the story behind this car, I haven't had time to tap of the seller. He had put 6K into the car already and was eager to sell. Got it for a fair price. I found the car on Station Wagon forum with a link to Craigslist CA Inlandempire see link above in this post. Seller was fantastic and deliver the car to my friends shop in Tempe AZ.
Art my friend is also the BCA technical advisor for 57 Buick.
Car will sit for a couple of months before it will be restored. Question as always, stick 100% original, or change to another 1964 Buick color both out and inside (still original Buick combination for 64). Add more option etc..
The major good news, very little rust, cardboard headliner in amazing condition with the original strips in place. Few sags but according to Art possible to fix.

    All comments will be appreciated!

    Thank

    1964 Buick Lesabre Station Wagon

    So Buick guys!

First of all my friend Art has confirmed that this us a real KX car, and secondly when Buick insanity takes over things has a tendency to happen. Scanning the horizon for *Buick stuff yesterday, I found an almost identical car in Landenberg *PA. Own by a AACA member dedicated to *Pontiac. So I*bought that as well for a very fair price. Has no motor or transmission but all the other stuff I want, and that my car didn't have. Third Seat Row, 6 way power seat, Cruise control, Lower dash padding, Trailer Hitch, Tilt steering wheel, Custom interior, It also has Power windows, AC and other parts I possible can sell out.

Trying to get a good shipping quote from PA to Tempe AZ *at the moment.

    Thanks

    Joern

    Sean or other!
How precise was the information on the Body Plate out of the factory, I mean are we always 100% sure that they got all on the Body Plate. If so - how usual was it to order other options later and let the Dealer mount or put it on before delivery or later? Reason for asking, is that this Buick with the KX engine, the one I bought as a parts car from Landenberg PA and also the old Perry COMO 64 Hot rod Lesabre Station wagon all has more accessories (seems like from the time they were bought) than listed on the Body Plate itself. The Perry COMO has the rare G5 Tailgate window washer and wiper. It also had a code F7 that none has decoded yet (if F7 is correct?). Another example is the Cornering Lamps no code, and where was the E6 rear seat speaker located in a wagon? in the door panels?

    Anyone?

    Thanks

There were factory installed options and dealer installed accessories. Dealer installed accessories never show up on the body tag and typically the only factory installed options that show up on the body tag are those that required Fisher body or the body maker to make some change to the body.

F7 on the Skylark was listed as "Sunshades - Vista Dome, Second Seat & Tail Gate Lamp (Std. on 4355-4365)", probably something similar on the LeSabre (like just the tail gate lamp).

Here is the list of dealer installed Buick Engineer Approved Accessories for 1964:
