41 Buick ???

Does anyone know if a vin number exists on the frame of my 41 Buick ??? I have looked in all of the obvoius places and no luck ....
Should the serial plate on the firewall be riveted or simply screwed on with tiny screws ??? Thx for any help. Bob W.

Don't know for sure - but, check on top of the frame around the front of the engine AND also look on top of the frame - clear at the back end of the frame on the driver's side - next to the gas tank (you'll need a small mirror). I have seen Highway Patrol looking in these two spots but, that was on a Chevy!! BluesBrothersBuicks

On a 1950 Buick, the VIN is on a plate screwed to the door frame AND it is also stamped on the left frame side rail near the brake master cylinder.
