Those are probably option (accessory) codes. They were supposed to be stamped next to "ACC", but usually aren't.
A = Dynaflow transmission
B = Heater and defroster
D = Radio and antenna
I got stuck with the identification of the paint number of our Buick 1951 Special Deluxe. It reads I ABD, probably meaning 1 ABD, as I was used for 1.
If "1" stands for the paint number 01, this would mean it's Carlsbad Black. But I can't get the meaning of ABD. Can anyone help me?
