    what is it???

    i have a wonderful buick that needs to be identified... please help me decode what i have found.... ok, the title says she's a 1940.... numbers on cowl read...13916257... numbers on motor read...54109268... the body tag on cowl reads...1941 mod.
    style no. 41-4527
    body 1860
    trim 905
    paint 572

    i cannot find these motor numbers in the reference area...
    can someone help me find out what this great car really is....
    i am dying to restore it!!!

    All we have in the reference is from '50, but the engine numbers are there and according to them, your engine number is a '41 series 50.

    update...

    i checked my parts interchange catalog for gm stuff... and according to its info...for 1941... the body #414527 is a super sport coupe (full rear seat)...
    anybody think this could be correct????

    duh, just realized that i got this decoded already on this site a while back when i found the car.... more kids, more work, less memory.... sorry for the repeat....
    she is a super sport coupe... looks like according to the #'s it has the original motor as well... oh well...
    regardless of my brainfart ...still moving forward with the resto.... gonna try and get some pics up soon..
