New Guy cowl tag question

I'm looking at a 1967 Skylark Convertible this weekend and was hoping to get some insight into the cowl tag / VIN info.
I have done the google search and can't find a good list of the codes for this car as compared to the detail available for Camaro's and such.
I just want to see what this car was originally as compared to what it is now.

It has bucket seats and console now, fender skirts but no GS badging.
Any resource help would be appreciated greatly so that when I drive up to see it on Saturday, I can have some notes to reference.

In the reference section on this site (look up at the tool bar - gray) *Reference, click on it, click on the year from the table, then go from there.
