Good morning group. I am in the process of restoring a 1969 GS400, and before I aquired the car the Fisher ID tag on the cowling got removed and lost. Some of the data I have retrieved with some research:
VIN z = Freemont, CA plant body code bf
signal red paint body code 52
black vinal interior 188 or 128 (I think with console shifter is 188)
My question: is there is anywhere I can find the production number that belongs on the Fisher tag?
I found a company that can make a tag but I need to get the info for them.
So, should I keep trying or just quit driving myself crazy and finish without the tag?
Thanks in advance, Eric
Google Sloan Museum in Flint - not sure if thier Buick production records go back to '69, but it's worth a try !
