'39 VIN & Engine # Question

I have a '39 Model 46 Coupe - I know the VIN, engine number and body #. Does anyone have access to production records so I can tell if I have "matching numbers"?

No such thing as "matching numbers" The best you will find out is if they were made about the same months
Ask on http://forums.aaca.org/f165/. Dave Corbin (early Buick numbers guy) may respond in a week or so. [He seems to visit the site every 1 ~ 2 weeks]

That would mean that it the engine numbers would fit in the groups as shown in identify Buick engines by the numbers in the reference section.

Thanks for the info on who to contact, I knew I had seen a post somewhere from someone who seemed to have some early production knowledge.
