    4 64 67 6 X 148706

    4 = Buick
    64 = Wildcat ( not a Wildcat Custom )
    67 = 2 dr convertible
    6 = 1966
    X = Kansas City, KS
    148706 = sequential production #

    66-4 64 67 = same information as above

    tr 428 = a black interior, i'm not sure if it's cloth or vinyl. the decoder page is a little confused right now.

    what does it meen, is it a GS,

    i don't know if a GS trim option was offered on the Wildcat. you'd have to find a build sheet to know for sure if it was ordered with it.

    is it rare?

    fewer than 2700 built even if it's just a plain jane convertible, it can't be common.

    GS was a one year only option for 66 Wildcats. Unfortunately these numbers you posted say nothing about whether it is or is not a GS. Unless you have paper work with the car that verifies the GS option or unless it was sold in Cananda originally there is no way to verify that it ever had the GS option. Certain options and emblems would be consistent with this option but there is no way to know for sure. There is no central US Buick car records for the model years prior to 1970. There are daily car reports but they are not VIN specific.
