Does anyone know where I can get the correct color red for a 72 buick 455? Also headers that are somewhat affordable? I'm not sure which model it was originally out of, but it's going into a Nova. Thanks

i don't know if anybody makes headers for a BBB in an X body car, you might need to have some customs whipped together.
if there ARE headers for this app, look for headers that fit a 73-75 Apollo or 75-79(?) Skylark as these were the Buick models that were built on the same platform as the Nova.

sorry, i spaced out on the 'engine color' part of your question.
try Duplicolor 1609 or Krylon 2114. you can normally find the Duplicolor at NAPA.
if you want something more high quality than a spray bomb you can google results for POR or other types of in the can paint. expensive though.

Thanks for the paint numbers and advice Bob. My car is a 75 Nova, did the 75-79 Apollo's or Skylark's come with the 455 engine?
