i'm trying to find info on identifing mid-to-early 60's small block buick. i've narrowed it down some but it came out of a boat
i would also like to find a different intake manifold for it. thanks for the help.

if your block is aluminum you've got a 215. they were available from 61-63.

if it's iron you've got a 300. the first year the 300 came with aluminum heads so you need to check the block. the 300 was 63(?)-67.

the 340 wasn't available until 66 and 67. in 68, the 340 and 300 were superseded by the 350.

there is an intake for the 350 but you CANNOT use this on the earlier engines as the 350 has a different valve order.

i know there were some aftermarket intakes for the 215 ... i don't know about the 300. there are none for the 340.
