I tend to doubt it, because there are two kits for adapting the small or the large straight eight to a chevy transmission as seen here:

Thanks, yeah doesn't look like the spare trans. from the 320 will work for my smaller 8 then. Anybody interested in a 51 320 w trans. was running before replaced with V8. Im in Central Alabama.
