bittmann Sep 26, 2024 #2 I believe our '52s can take up to 7 quarts if you change the oil filter and completely drain the filter housing (which you should!) Yeah, page 0-6 under Lubricare - "5 1/2 quarts (**7)", where ** indicates "With Dry Oil Filter". Last edited: Sep 26, 2024

bittmann Sep 26, 2024 #3 I know mine took more than 6, but I don't think I got 7 in it. Unsure. But in my experience it's definitely safe to start with 6 qt if you've completely changed the filter. That should get you into the "safe" zone at least.
