'95 LeSabre races withA/C on

Hi, I have a 1995 LeSabre with the 3.8L v6 that revs at high RPMs when the A/C is. It does not do this when the A/C is off. It seems to coincide possibly with A/C on and the engine reaching its normal operating tempurature. I've replaced the throttle position sensor and this doesn't see to have helped. Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm thinking it may be an electrical problem or bad sensor elsewhere. As an aside, the car did have the air bag light on for the longest time and a mechanic discovered that there was a short in one of the horns that kept blowing a shared fuse ( #10? ). Perhaps this is a sign of other electrical issues, one being my racing engine problem?

Any help on the racing engine would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a '86 Mustang GT, fuel injected and when you mash the throttle to the floor an automatic AC disconnect is activated (compressor clutch electricity disconnected, more horse power to rear wheels). I am sure this same theory is used on most cars. But yours is working just the opposite. I have no answer.
