231 Even fire specs

I'm looking for specs on the even fire 231. I have one out of an 83 Cutlass that i want to build for a small pickup. Specifically im looking for cylinder head cc's, block deck height, etc. I found some flat top pistons from TA Performance & I need to make some calculations before I order a camshaft, etc. I have built one of these engine years ago with a performer cam & intake, 390 carb and a set of headers and that engine ran great! I didn't have time to port the heads which i am doing this time around. I guess I'm OCD and can't build an engine without blueprinting most of it out like CC'ing the heads for an exact measurement, 1" cylinder down fill measurement, etc, for an exact mechanical compression ratio. I'll post everything on here in a thread once i get started and parts back from the machine shop. I also managed to find a Holley 450 cfm vacuum secondary carb I'll be using this time around. Any info, references or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

TA Performance has most of the specs here,

If you can get the compression height of those flat tops, you can figure out how far they will sit in the hole at TDC.

I would measure everything.

You might also want to look at this article,

It has a calculator you can download onto your computer. It lets you calculate Static and Dynamic compression.
