Hey, guys

How are yall i'm here in houston,tx My dad had a 72 skylark when we were kids and that car rocks:hurray:, Well in trying to find what dad had I am looking at a 1971 centurion convertible.

I'm about to test drive it tomorrow and was wondering any advice from yall for me to ask the owner?

the top looks good, trunk has some rust, some bubbles around the wheel wells, the motor is a 455-4 , the body is solid , the interior is great.

did the cars have power steering ?

If yall can think of some other questions please let me know.

Thanks, Nelson

I'd be surprised if it didn't have power steering. A '71 455 is GREAT! A convertible is GREAT!

Hope it works out for you:thumbsup:

if it's a TX car it should still be pretty solid. check the rear package tray, the core support and the front firewall area for serious rust.

i can't imagine a full size, 70's Buick not having PS.
