    I just purchased an oil filter from Napa. the part # is 1100. This appears to be a perfect fit!! if anyone cares... [img]smile.gif[/img]

    I'll be makeing a note of it [img]graemlins/hurray.gif[/img] After several tries I ended up just getting one from a Buick restoration supplier.

    Is that the same as a '53 Special? I haven't had any luck finding one for mine.

    Yes, that should be the same one. Your Special should have the straight 8 in it.
