    248/263 connecting rods

    are the connecting rods from a 1950 248 the same lenght as 263? They share the same stroke but someone insist that 263 are 1/4" longer.

    248 versus 263 connecting rods

    1950 Buick Shop Manual
    Page 22
    248 [series 50] connecting rod length center to center 7 5/8 inch
    263 [series 50] connecting rod length center to center 7 3/8 inch

    SO the 263 is 1/4" SHORTER

    im only seing for 263 and 320.nothing about the 248
