    duel/duel

I think you will find the "dual" exhaust manifolds dumped into a Y pipe then to a single exhaust pipe.

i believe that the factory increased the diameter of the exhaust pipe after the 'y' joint. This allowed the increased air to the intake to balance the exhaust air going out. You must have both or you will not have any increased performance for twin carb's.

I have a photo I took of a 41 setup linkage and exhaust "Y" pipe but cannot seem to upload it to show you all. It keeps telling me teambuick says the upload failed. I would love to share it to see if it helps anyone.

you can remote host the picture elsewhere and then simply link it.

    Google accounts offer this

photobucket.com or instagram.com will also host for you.

    I can't see the pic,only many many other things...😆

If do you wanna use a single tube exhaust you need minimum the Diameter of the Manifold outlets...
Me drive with a dual tube exhaust and it sounds like that the engine is thankfully for its free breathing.😉
