way too big of a carb. a holley 390 is about right. remember this is only a 263.
I would like to know what i could do to the old girl to get more out of her.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i already have a intake being made for a 750 cfm 4-barrel carb from summit racing to go on.
still on 6v i don't know if that matters but i would like to keep her on 6v but run like a dog.

for that option with one big carb, the oem manifold is too long and edged.
You must look for an compound carb manifold combo from a 40-41 248 engine.
Then give him a head porting and .01 milling and fine is your good runnin engine.

Jenz38..how about making your own manifold for two carbs and use two weber 38 dgas?
HOODS CC England
Yes,why not .. i woud try it,sounds interesting experiment..
I would think about a warming about the exhaust because of carb icing.
The Carbs are for 2,8 and 3 litres ford V6 granada and capri engines, right ? you know how much cfm they have?

Not sure on the cfm but i know they use them on the 2.0 engines as a performance up grade so should be ok,ill work something out re the carb icing though i have only ever had the opposite..maybe catch you at kustom kulture
