    swapping a 263 for 320

can a 263 be replaced by a 320? ie motor mounts, transmission, drive shaft etc...i dont know much about the 320,i was just about to rebuild my 263 for my 51 when i came across an already just fresh rebuilt 320 out of a 52 for sale, ive always been interested in the larger motor and the price is right
thanks ahead of time for any input

The wheelbase and the frontal sheetmetal are usually 5 inches longer on model series' with the 320 big block (Roadmaster, Century). The mounts are in different locations, too. At least the manual trans was heavier duty on 320, not sure about Dynaflow.

A 1952 320 should have the 4 barrel carb. intake and exhaust manifold. They are quite a prize in themselves.
