    Talking Fuel Pump

I just rebuilt my fuel pump. I put the pump back in the car and disconnected the out let side to see if fuel is pumping through and I get nothing, any suggestions?

Should the fule be flowing out at a high rate? before the rebuild fuel was slow and it was spitting.

    HELP PLEASE!

It's always good to know year, make & model. Helps with diagnosis. If it was "Spitting" before you rebuilt it, it was trying to work. 1st. thing I would check is the fuel line coming out of the tank. It will crack & suck air but not leak fuel.

1951 Buick Super 263. I got it going! I pushed compressed air into the gas tank and now she is pumping. I need to set the floats next!
