I just received my new mechanical dual diaphragm fuel pump for my 1950 Buick Special today (it has had a electric pump since i got the car) and upon hooking it up it is putting out too much pressure, my question is which connection on the pump is for what, meaning the top hookup and the bottom...and also should there be some sort of return line? If anyone has detailed information, or diagram on how these pumps work exactly and wouldnt mind helping I would greatly appreciate it...feel free to respond here, or email me at bharley58@aol.com...

bottom is gas and top is vacuum (for wipers).
