DID ANY BUICK RUN THE 305 TP1 ? also wiring diagram for 85 park ave.wanted

I have purchased a 1950 buick with a 305 tpi/700r trans supposedly out of a 1985 Buick ( the chassis is an 85 park avenue I was told ) but I don't think this is correct...can anyone verify this. also can anyone help with a column wiring diagram for a 1985.
I have adopted another shoddy project with horrid wiring (TPI harness ) a mile long and all over the place.
