O.K. to be honest I havent even looked into this problem yet. I just figured I would try here first. My fuel gauge worked fine until I trailered the car once last year (not a trailer queen, just a very long hot trip) as soon as I backed it off of the trailer I noticed the gauge wasnt working. That was a year ago and I havent even attemped to fix it because it just didnt concern me. However I am now planning on putting it up for sale so I need to fix it. Before I dig into it I just wondered if anyone has experienced a similar issue. Thanks TR
check the gauge by grounding the sending unit side to the body. If it moves, it's good. Your problem could be an open wire to the sending unit. Try the same experiment at the sending unit.
