I have a 90 Riveria same problem mine was the pcv though the hose that it plugs into got dried out and leaked. It would drive fine but once you took your foot off the accel it would die
Our 91 Riviera started dying at stop lights , after a couple of days of that it will now turn over fine, but dies if you do not hold down the accelerator, but as soon as you let off to put in gear, it dies. The service engine soon light as well as the A/C light are on. I was told that it was my egr valve, or my fuel filter or my fuel pump... help me please

with the car running do you here a loud hissing sound, if so look at the pcv hose and valve.
No hissing sound, I replaced fuel filter, air filter, and TP sensor, still no luck, I would clean EGR if I could find it....Thank you for your reply
