How to fix a vibration (low humming) noise coming from the fuel tank? Probably caused by the fuel pump mounted in the tank. Prefer a band-aid approach that works, since I prefer not to drop the tank at this time.

are those cardboard like isolaters still between the fuel tank and the fuel tank straps?? there should be some of that stuff on the top of the fuel tank aswell.
also there should be a rubber gasket between the pump and the fueltank so any vibration should be taken away by that.

I would be very concerned about imminent fuel pump failure and where that might happen
