Hi Ray!

Thanks for the kind words.

I appreciate that You recognize my efforts

That's what we are all here for to HELP! each other.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

I hope that when I have a problem someone will come to the rescue. And thankfully it has many times.

I feel a duty & responsibility to "pay back" for other members efforts, and that's what makes this website of ours work so well.

What comes around, goes around Full Circle

The most important thing is communication.

True, I have supplied You with a list

Now all You need is to get results and obtain the Part needed.

I myself have never done business with any of the Vendors I listed. So it will be interesting to see who comes through in the Clutch.

One Vendor who may be able to HELP! you out that I overlooked is:

Eaton Detroit Spring
www.eatonsprings.com
E-mail: sales@eatonspring.com
313-963-3839

Apparently they have all sorts of OEM specs on Suspension and Steering Components.

I hope You are able to obtain the centerlink "post-haste"

Let US know how you make-out

If you need more HELP! I'll have to hit the books and try to come-up with some more research.

The Game is Afoot!

Regards and Happy Hunting.

Good Morning Tom,

Your efforts, support and recommendations helping all members deserves recognization and appreciation, I realize when you try and help it also takes time away from your personal requirements. I'm from the old school, "if you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all".

I tried all numbers given, all the suppliers tried to be helpful, unfortunately no one could assist me. I think centerlink repair kit for 61-63 Buick/Olds/Pontiac "A" body series must not have been offered? A couple of the suppliers did have new/rebuilt centerlink with average price of $500.- I'll keep trying, mine is rebuildable and I have time before car needs suspension installed. I just thought I'd share my experience with you.

Thanks again,

Ray

Hey Ray,

I'm really Sorry I haven't been able to HELP! You out! I thought that You would have been able to find at least one who could help you out.

Perhaps the New one are so expensive due to the fact that there isn't a re-build kit available?
I don't know this for a fact, but the premise is plausable.

I will continue to do some more research and Hopefully! we will be able to come up with some positive results.

Maybe there is a Member out there who knows of a vendor.

That outfit in New Jersey was the best! I wonder what happened!

Regards,

Tom Gallagher

Have You considered the possibility of a "Used" part?

Hi Tom,

Your a sweetheart and I appreciate you sharing information, I think if I can find a good used
centerlink I'd use, then at a later date I can always upgrade, not a lot of parts involved to rebuild, going to break mine down and bring to a machine shop (same one who did my engine) and see if he can fabricate steel cups, then I can find springs and rubber bushings, I have the beginning of kit now being the two carter pins (only a little humor). Wow, I attended od car show today and saw a gem 49 Buick Roadmater Riveria, almost the same car I had back in 1995 and drove for Brooklyn to Fort Knox, Kentucky where I was stationed, great car and grand old days. Yes, I agree maybe another member would be kind enough to share some information?

Thanks again,

Ray
