Thread: vapor lock

Anyone old enough to remember this problem? I was driving my 1968 Riviera on one unusually hot day last month and it wouldn't re- start after I shut it off to go into a store for about 10 minutes.
When I was starting it, it seemed like the fuel puump was bad. After another twenty minute period it fired up fine. Is there a way to wrap the fuel line or something?

Did you first inspect the fuel line to make sure it is well spaced from the block or any extreme heat sources?
