Hi guys. Today is my first day of ownership of a 1957 Buick Super 4-door 4S. I believe it has a 364 since thats the only engine option I have seen for this car. the waterpump is shot and i need a new one. Here's my problem:
Napa's listing on a waterpump for a 364 only goes back to '59. Will a pump for a '57 364 swap with a '59 364? Is it possible that my car doesnt even have a 364?
The casting # on the pump is 1491
1220-1
Thanks a lot in advance for any help. -matt

Give Buick World a Try. Ask for Jim. They have always done alright by me. They will bend over backwards to help you out. Call first thing in the AM Pacific time. Quality stuff.
