NOTE: Kenne-Bell Cams are engineered to concentrate maximum power and torque into the power range parameters listed above. These rpm ranges apply to our cams ONLY and if Kenne-Bell Hi Rev Lifters, No Wiggle Retainers and Springs are used. Best shift points for maximum acceleration is dependent on manifold, carburetor, air cleaner, head flow, exhaust, etc. A good baseline is to shift at the upper range and experiment 200 rpm at a time in both directions until optimum acceleration is attained.

KB MARK 2XA
This cam is our latest and best street cam for the 215-300-340. Same cam selected by Goodyear's Gary Bryson for his 300" powered Mercedes Roadster show/street car that was featured in Toad and Track Magazine. Very popular for street 215's with automatic or manual trans. O.K. with stock gears and trans. Broad toque range with power from idle to 6000. Stock Type idle. Improves performance and economy. Will even work with stock aprings and retainers, although KB rplacements are highly recommmended. Will rev to 6500. Good combination with stock Carter 4 bbl.

KB MARK 2A
The little motors like the 215-300-340 need a stick for this cam. 300-340 is O.K. if stock Switch Pitch TH300 trans is used. Popular maximum street performance cam for the stick 215. Broad torque and power range from 1400-6000. Good idle but very slight lope. Idles at 800. More mid-range and top end than the KB MARK 1XA. Also poular for higher torque big cars. (Rivieras, Wildcats, etc.) with automatic tyrans, power accessories, etc. where it is desireable to retain good idle and streetablity.

KB MARK C114A
Maximum sensible cam for these engines. Our most popular cam for the 401-425. Noticable lope at idle. Idles at 100. Pistons do not require notching. O.K. with automatic trans in 401-425. but stick only in 215-300-340. O.K. with Switch Pitch Trans. but should have lower gears. Pulls strong from 2000-6000 and to 5500 in 401-425. With 4.40 gears a 300" will turn over 100 mph with this cam. 35HP over stock.

KB MARK 3A
THE KENNE BELL CAM THAT MADE THE 215-300-340'S RUN IN THE OLD DAYS. wILL PICK UP .5 AND 5 MPH IN THE 1/4 MILES. 50hp, rough idle. Idles at 1100-1200. Needs converter. Clears pistons if heads or block haven't been milled. Our 300" turned 103 mph with this cam and 2speed Switch Pitch. You can drive it on the street but it's not easy.

KB MARK 5RS
Competition only. 4000-8000 rpm range. Must have all the good stuff in a 215-300-340. Heads must be ported. High rpm serious racing only. Our best cam for these engines. Meeds Kenne Bell Roller Rockers, Shats and Cam Kit. Will rev to 8000.
