If it's not important try to use a '56/322. The 1st. yr. '53 is plagued with one yr. only parts & pieces. '56 is the most modern of the 322's.
Ok guys, I have a 53 322 I want to rebuild. I'm new to these engines and I'm chasing info to get the best out of the engine. Would like to warm it up a little but try keep it reliable. Original bore. Many thanks

Thanks telriv, I'm in Australia so they aren't readily available to me. I had heard trying to get 54-55 heads and pistons but I'm just trying to work out what is best for what I have
