    1966 lesabre conv gas tank

I am looking for a gas tank for my 1966 lesabre convertible. I have looked at tanks inc classicautoparts and on ebay. But dont find any matches for year and make. Is there something comperable? The tank that is there now is 29 wide (tire to tire) and 35 long deep isnt an issue but it is 8in (taper to about 6)

My big issue is the width because of custom exhaust. Dont want to redoo that also.

the Le Sabre was the Buick B-body.

try looking at one of the Chevrolet B-bodies, their tanks will probably be the same thing or easily adaptable. look for an 1965-70 Impala or Caprice

Pontiac Bonneville and Catalina are also B-bodies from this era.

I haven't been able to find one yet. Bought one and what I thought was the length (hood to tail) was width between tires. Ill look for the other b body cars mentioned and see what I find.

So you have a 66 lesabre conv? I have some other questions if you drop me a line email is m6086289645@gmail.com.
