If a all out porting job is done on the heads & at that they can only handle 320 or so cubes that don't have the nec. capacity to provide ENOUGH air for 401 cubes stroking will only lower the max RPM output the engine can deliver.

Started this years ago and was shoved to the back of the shop.
Its a 401 that was over bored and stroked long ago. Never figured out the displacement. Looks to have other aftrmarket valvetrain componets.
Spoke to TA about the engine right after I ported and flowed the heads and factory iron 4bbl intake. I dont know if I still have my flow sheets but numbers were the best TA had ever heard of. Didnt flow the intake bolted to the heads as I perfer to do.
This was all done with the stock valve size probably stock valves not shure. Purchased over size valves SS valves years back. The heads are going in to have the larger valves set up. Then some needed blending when I get them back.
