Choke hot air tube 63 riviera question

anyone have pics or can you discribe to me where the two tubes for choke go ? I have one metal tube that goes from a barb near the bottom of the pass side exhaust manifold changes to rubber just above the valve cover and goes to the pass side rear of the top of the carb. is that correct? and where does the tube that attaches to the choke housing on the carb go to? thanks lrg

    Choke Heat

Sounds fishy. The air is hot comming out of the exhaust stove and should be metal all the way to the choke coil, then is bled into the carb to keep the heat moving. Some pipes come all the way from the exhaust manifold or from the heat under the carb. The hot air is not exhaust just clean air that goes by it.

sounds to me like you are describing a vacuum line AND the hot air tube.
UNLESS you are talking about a hot water choke, in which case you DO have an IN and OUT, and they will be rubber at the carb.
you didn't say which engine/carb you have

The tube is metal from the choke housing to the rear top of the exhaust manifold on the right side. The other tube is what supply's fresh air to the hot air tube & IS connected to the rear of the carb. like you said with a piece of rubber hose. This is drawing clean, fresh, filtered air to supply the hot air to the choke & there is NO heat in it.
