    63 Riv

I have a 63 Riviera with a 425, it runs good nice and smooth but doesnt seem to have a whole lot of power. Still has the dyna flow, new carter afb 625 cfm. I was wondering what could be the problem. I think the timing is ok but it does not seem to take off very fast. Is this how they are? It is a big car but i figured it should maybe have a little more pep.

    Thanks for you imput

If you put it in low you will have more power than you ever thought you had. Just don't hold it to the floor going from low to drive. When the switch-pitch in the converter works the way it should the car SHOULD have plenty of power.

Maybe the converter doesnt work right? What could go wrong with that? Ive tried low and it has more power but its nothing to write home about.
