No. Basically, the secondary plates are mechanical, and there is a weighted air valve above the plates that opens as air demand is needed.

Anyone ever tried a 750cfm edelbrock on a nailhead? Im thinking about going this route but wonder if it will be too big. Ive heard they like the carbs though. I have lake style headers and a pertronix otherwise the motor is stock.
