    1965 buick wildcat

Hello guys how are you, i am new to this site and looking for some help. I purchased a 65 wildcat in overall good shape to restore but i have one problem the car had no motor. How do i tell which nailhead motor was in the car if at all possible. I want to stay as original as possible which motor do i go with the 401 or 425 and where do i begin to look to find one. I live in Texas. I really appreciate any help i can get from anyone. Thanks

I don't know how you would tell without a build sheet, but here's a 425 in the Team Buick classifieds and it's even in Texas!

Found mine under the carpet in the back seat (Flint)and another in the springs of the rear seat(Wilmington) not that there is any consistancy.
If you have the Protect o Plate that will tell as well.

I am in Houston and have been working a '65 Cat for quite some time. Should be plenty of help here.
