I imagine you will have to pull the fresh air cowl to get to them. Not being a smart butt,it is the vented piece between the windshield and the hood. That is how most are mounted anyway. I have a 59 buick and it was the same. TP

I thought the one on my 59 was shot. After I found out what a replacement would cost I tore into it. it was just dirty and needed cleaning. On the 59 and I imagine your's also, it has power all the time and the switch interrupts it. I pulled mine apert and cleaned it really well. Put new grease in it and it's been working for a couple of years. Pay attention to how it comes apart. I found a picture of it online and managed to get it back together. good luck. TP
