    new carb for 62 Wildcat

I want to install a new carb for my 62 Wildcat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Depending on why you want a new carb, usually the best suggestion is to have a good carb shop rebuild the original. That way you know it's in line with the engine design and you don't have to mess with linkages and chokes.

If you want suggestions, you will have to mention the engine. 401?

There is a bunch of carburetor information in the refence section that will definitly help in a choice.

    new carb for 62 Wildcat

Hey guys thanks for the reponses. Yeah the engine is a 401 and I already rebuilt the carter on it but I still get very hard cold starts. I'm going to try to make the adjustments with the lean/rich setting on the thermostat to see if that helps.
