    Ignition module

Would a defective ign module cause a surging sensation in my '83 park ave?

    surging/hesitation issues

Surging or hesitation during driving can be caused by a bad ig. module/and or/coil pak. Autozone can check both parts.

    Good luck

ps. If you have replaced your plugs with platinums, that may also cause faulty firing giving a surging/hesitation during acceleration.
