Fuel type for 63' buick lesabre

Besides leaded gas, Which type of octane fuel can go in a 63' buick lesabre?

It depends on what engine combo you have. You could have a 9 to 1 compression 2 barrel, or a 10.5 to one 2 barrel, and a 10.5 to 1 4 barrel. The latter two used Etheyl gas. That was about 101 Octane. I run 91 Octane in my 62 4 barrel and it does pretty good. Doesn't ping. I have never put lead substitute in it, and I have never had an issue. Probably would run a little better on some 101. Pretty hard to find though.
62 Invicta with 70,000 original miles. Dual exhaust otherwise stock. Blast to drive.
