very nice!! If you find out something, let me know, too! I intend to have Bentson Transmission change mydynaflow.
Hi folks, I am a new proud owner of a 1965 Riviera GS that just arrived from Belgium (see Bench Racing Forum) and I need recommendations on an engine rebuilder hopefully in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Car currently has a 401 nom engine in it but I have purchased two 1965 LX 425's and will rebuild one of them and install in the car.
Any recommendations would be appreciated and you can even call me at 817 233 1470.
Thanks,
Chuck

There are some former nailhead folks in the El Paso and panhandle area of Texas, but the have moved on to later model stuff. My suggestions would be to ship the engine to a known quality builder. There are several in the western US, Russ Martin in the San Francisco bay area and Dave Beregsen in Fresno. Russ would be my first choice. He presently is moving so timing might be an issue. Contact him at Nailhead_Russ@Yahoo.com or on the NailheadBuick@yahoogroups.com

Hi all,
I have a 66 skylark with a 340 4bbl in it and recently started making what seems to be lifter noise...particularly at idle. I can do the standard pull the covers and check the valvetrain but I'm looking around for either a recommended Buick rebuilder on the east coast, preferably in the Virginia area or anyone have or know where to get a rebuilt/rebuildable 401 nailhead.
Thanks for the help.
I would beg Russ Martin to work on my stuff if I had to....
