Hello everyone,
New Member here, excite to join the community. I'm from North Carolina and restoring a 1968 Buick Skylark 350 V8 5.7L 2 door model. Purchase this as a true barn find in 2016. It;s been a venture in getting it back up and running. It's in the final stages of repair after being in two difference shops over the past 8 years. O even took my vehicle to a local community college and worked on many of the repairs myself. I work in the medical field, so it was a little over my head. So, after years of frustration and wasted funds, I finally got a body shop that can do the work, and it is looking great and scheduled to be complete in late February, early March. We have everything pretty much complete but can't resource any hood hinges. The first guy I had doing my restoration, misplace them. I found a set of 1968 - 1972 Pontiac GTO, LeMans, Tempest, GM OEM on eBay but not sure if they will work. Does anybody have a solution?

Best of luck with your project! Even if you only have time to go out and just turn one bolt a day, you will eventually finish it!

Enjoy your project, the build can be a lot of fun even though it is a lot of work, and usually much too slow.
Looking at "Hollander Interchange", it appears your hood hinges are specific to you car and model. The Olds, Pontiac hinges will not be satisfactory. You must find a set from a '68 Special, or Skylark, Even '67 nor '69 hinges are considered correct.

I appreciate the info

Shops are notorious for "oopsing" parts at the expense of the customer. I have an antenna a plating shop deliberatly damaged without asking me beforehand. I was too young and ignorant at the time and just thought I'd find another, never happened.
