455 Olds engine?

Can anyone tell me what kind of work I am looking at to drop an oldsmobile 455 into my 1970 Skylark?

I currently have the stock 350, and the 455 has the trans with it, TH400?

Little things like adjusting the radiator forward/backward, accessory brackets, etc. are not a problem. I'm more looking for things like oil pan? engine mounts? drive shaft? what kind of work would be needed in order to get the engine/trans to sit in the car?

thanks

The '70 Olds Chassis is the same as the '70 Skylark Chassis. So the oil pan should work (as long as you don't have an FWD 455 or something). You should be able to use Olds exhaust, motor mounts, etc., all with no problem. A possible exception might be the frame brackets, you may have to drill some holes, but shouldn't be a big job there. Wiring should also be straightforward, except maybe changing a few wire lengths.

I would just treat the whole engine compartment like an olds: radiator hoses, ground strap, etc. and it should be fairly straightforward.

Biggest challenge: remaining calm when saying "No, it's NOT a Buick 455!"
