350 question

hey everyone... i have a 71 skylark and im currently looking for a motor for it since the '85 camaro 305 thats in it barely moves it. My friend's nephew has a 350 from a 68 or 69 camaro and says it's a 4 bolt. I can't get the casting # yet. But i was wondering if anyone could verify this for me.
I was under the impression that only Buick, Olds and the truck motors were 4 bolts and chevy/pontiac 350s were 2 bolt.
Thanks!

If you have a 305 Chev engine in your Skylark, someone changed it. They were not available in that year!If it has a distributor in the front of the engine, it is a Buick engine, and the chev engine will not fit the trans. Chevy built 4 bolt engines for both High performance and trucks, and Buick NEVER built a 350 4 bolt engine. They did build a few ( maybe a half dozen) 4 bolt 455s, but they are VERY rare!
