Yours can be repaired. It just takes a thin piece of steel and some patience. There are usually covers around, so if you feel that they are actually unrepairable, they will pop up on E- Bay
Well, some p.o. or another way over tightened the valve covers at some point and bent them badly where the mounting bolts run through them. I have doubts about whether or not they can be fixed with a hammer/dolly type approach, so are tese available in the after market? I was amazed to be able to purchase gaskets for them off the shelf at the parts house, so maybe they interchange with something?
