    Question

Did Buick ever make a version of their 350 with a 4.057 bore and a 3.380 stroke?

    Thanks Doc
Now I see it is a 364. Desktop dyno 2000 lists it as a Buick SB 350

If your ever curious about an engines stock spec's goto: nhra.com/tech_specs/engine, and it will give you the factory bore, stroke, cam spec's, combustion chamber volume, and some times rod to stroke ratio.

    hope this helps,

not to rain on your parade but some of the specs that NHRA lists are wildly inaccurate. among the more glaring omissions is their failure to list Buick engine data for 1973 at all.

i suspect that some of the 'errors' arise because NHRA is listing legal specs for a stock class ... note that they show the 1975 455 as having 10.28:1 compression which is simply absurd (the real number is 7.9:1 for 75/76). i think they're carrying 1970 spec numbers (+ some slop) forward and allowing even the 1976 engines to run at those dimensions so they aren't kneecapping anybody who doesn't have a 1970 motor.

but that doesn't help those of us out here in the real world very much.
